The International Rescue Committee (IRC) responds to the world’s worst humanitarian crises and helps people to survive and rebuild their lives.
The IRC has been working in Seattle for 43 years to provide services and support to refugees, asylees, and survivors of human trafficking. The Rebuilding Lives Dinner honors those who have faced tremendous adversity and have taken long and difficult journeys to rebuild their lives. The evening will provide a glimpse into the stories of local refugee youth, envisioning bright futures against incredible odds - and how IRC Seattle helps to empower young (and old) refugees to thrive in their new communities in Washington State.
Alongside fellow humanitarians, enjoy a spirited cocktail hour, inspiring symbolic live auction, and an incredible, globally-inspired menu. By attending, you are standing up for refugees, showing our newest neighbors they are safe from harm, welcome, and free to make the Pacific Northwest their new home.
Proceeds from the 11th Annual Rebuilding Lives Dinner will support the critical services IRC Seattle provides to newly arrived families in an uncertain policy and funding environment

The International Rescue Committee provides opportunities for refugees, asylees, victims of human trafficking, survivors of torture, and other immigrants to thrive in America. Each year, thousands of people, forced to flee violence and persecution, are welcomed by the people of the United States into the safety and freedom of America. These individuals have survived against incredible odds.
The IRC works with government bodies, civil society actors, and local volunteers to help them translate their past experiences into assets that are valuable to their new communities. In Seattle and other offices across the country, the IRC helps them to rebuild their lives. Read more on our website at www.Rescue.org/Seattle.
